-A 4-Star General is too soft on Defense.
-A Governor who has an "A" rating from the NRA is too much of a gun-grabber for Southerners.
-A Senator who's religious principles forbid him from voting or campaigning on the Sabbath and holds to this, and prays daily, is too socially liberal for most Americans.
-A Senator who successfully ran his law practice and made millions, and won as a liberal in a conservative state, knows nothing about business or helping ordinary people.
-A Senator who was awarded medals for conduct in combat and has decades on the Foreign Policy committee knows less about foreign affairs than a man who sort-of was in the National Guard and couldn't name the President of Pakistan before the election.
-A Congressman who was the Shadow Speaker of the House for years and consistently won re-election as a liberal in a conservative state can't deal effectively with Congress and can't speak to ordinary people.
-A Congressman who doesn't have a chance should be mocked and belittiled rather than admired for his courage in at least trying something new AND being loyal to the party.
-Zell can vote with Republicans, believe in the Republican platform, and endorse the Republican in the race before the Democrats even have a candidate......and still be a Democrat.
